Analyze My Narrative ("we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered manuscript analysis platform. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our service at analyzemynarrative.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you use Google OAuth, your name and profile information as provided by Google. We use a third-party authentication provider and do not store your password directly.

Uploaded Content

When you upload a manuscript, we process the text and store it as encrypted chunks in our database. Uploaded content is used solely for providing analysis services to you. We do not read, review, or share your manuscripts with other users.

Usage Data

We collect standard usage data such as pages visited, features used, and browser type to improve our service. We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymized traffic analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide manuscript analysis, knowledge graph generation, RAG chat, and video generation services
  • To maintain your entity profiles, analysis history, and project data across sessions
  • To process payments and manage your subscription (via Stripe)
  • To send essential service communications (password resets, account notifications)
  • To improve our analysis algorithms and user experience

4. AI Processing & Third-Party Services

To perform analysis, your manuscript text is sent to third-party AI providers for processing. We currently use:

  • OpenAI — for text analysis and embeddings
  • Anthropic — for text analysis (when selected by user)
  • Google AI (Vertex AI) — for image and video generation

We use these providers' APIs with zero data retention (ZDR) configurations where available. This means your content is processed in memory and not stored or used for model training by these providers. Specifically:

  • OpenAI API requests are not used for training per their API data usage policy
  • Anthropic API requests are not used for training per their commercial terms
  • Google Vertex AI provides zero data retention by default

5. Data Storage & Security

We take the security of your creative work seriously:

  • Encryption at rest — Manuscript content is encrypted using industry-standard encryption before storage
  • Access isolation — Our database enforces strict ownership controls. Users can only access their own projects and data
  • Isolated storage — Generated images and videos are stored in private, isolated storage
  • HTTPS everywhere — All data in transit is encrypted via TLS
  • Source purge — You can permanently delete your manuscript text after analysis while keeping your analysis results

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. Specifically:

  • Manuscripts — Stored until you delete the project or purge the source text
  • Analysis results — Stored until you delete the project
  • Entity profiles — Stored until you delete them
  • Generated media — Stored until you delete the project
  • Account data — Retained until you request account deletion

When you delete a project, all associated data (chunks, analyses, entities linked only to that project, generated media) is permanently removed from our systems.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data — All your projects, analyses, and entities are visible in your dashboard
  • Export your data — PDF export is available for analysis results and chat conversations
  • Delete your data — Delete individual projects or request full account deletion
  • Purge source text — Remove manuscript content while keeping analysis results

To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below. We will delete all your data within 30 days.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to your uploaded manuscripts and creative works. We claim no ownership or license over your content beyond what is necessary to provide the service. Your manuscripts are never shared with other users, used to train AI models, or made publicly accessible.

9. Payments

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use Google Analytics cookies for anonymized usage analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

11. Children's Privacy

Analyze My Narrative is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Responsible AI

Our AI governance practices are informed by the principles of ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for AI management systems. We are committed to transparency, human oversight, data minimization, and responsible use of AI throughout our platform. 13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
